Our Beliefs

The Bible is the unique, full and final authority on all matters of faith and practice.  There are no other writings similarly inspired by God.  The Bible's truth is timeless and speaks to our everyday lives.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is true God, he always has been and always will be. He gave His life for the sins of all people by dying on the cross. He is the only One who is able to provide access and reconciliation between God and people

The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit, also true God, was sent into the world by the Father and the Son to apply to mankind the saving work of Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit enlightens the minds of sinners, awakens in them a recognition of their need for a Savior, and regenerates them.

Salvation

The salvation of mankind is wholly a work of God's free grace and must be received by repentance and faith of individuals. When God begins a saving work in the heart of any person, He promises He will carry it on to completion.

The Church

All people who accept the gift of God's grace become members of Jesus' body, the church. There is one true church universal, comprised of all those who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Rescuer and Ruler.

Faith and Practice

The Bible is the final authority in all matters of faith and practice. We practice two ordinances of the church: believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper. Believer's baptism is for those who have accepted the free gift of eternal life and want to be a part of God's forever family. We take the Lord's Supper at least once a month in remembrance of what Christ did for us on the cross.
