In 1999, we sold our property and adopted the name New Beginnings Church with a vision to reach the Merced area with the message of hope for those who are searching for answers to life. We want to help people understand that God has a plan and a purpose for their lives and that they matter to God. He wants to have a real and personal relationship with each of us. Prayer The foundation of New Beginnings Church is Prayer. Several opportunities are provided for you to be involved in the Prayer Ministry. Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m., we gather for the most important service of the week and spend time praising God for what He has done and is doing in our lives. We then take our requests to Him, praying not only for the needs of our own families, but also for the needs of our city and larger community. Worship Worship is a time of celebration and excitement at New Beginnings Church. We believe that worship should be varied, contemporary, and relevant to all those who attend. Warmth and laughter are a part of the worship experience. We spend time in greeting one another, praying for one another, and lifting our voices in songs that express our love, thanks, praise, and worship to God. Our church services are casual in dress, but if you prefer to wear more formal attire that is great. Our worship time is contemporary and you’ll always have the freedom to worship in a way that leads you to God. At each service, you will hear a relevant message from the Bible that will help you get through the week and beyond. We invite you to come and worship with us! Location We are temporarily located at 1365 East Alexander Avenue in Merced, California. We meet Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. for Worship Service, and we have our Bible Fellowship Groups for all ages following our Worship Service at 10:30 a.m.
